TAMUCC is hosting a math success workshop for teachers, parents, and students in grades 5-8 on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at West Oso Junior High School. Participants will work together to become aware of their own strengths in math, solve interesting hands-on problems, and discuss how middle school students can build mathematics understanding from everyday experiences. The focus will be on proportional reasoning and multiplication fluency. This is a community-wide event.
