What a terrific World Thank Offering program and fellowship Monday! I am looking forward to our monthly meetings on the first Monday!

Amen! I am flying to Florida today to my parents house with my dad’s cremation box. Today he would be turning 96. I sure miss you both mom and dad!

We are stay here strong because we have never lost faith!

A Special Invitation from St. John’s UMC United Women in Faith Please Join Us for the 2023 Program “A Call to Prayer and Self Denial” Saturday, June 3, 2023 10:30 a.m. - 12 Noon St. John’s UMC, Community Life Building, 5300 S. Alameda, Corpus Christi, TX 78412 Theme: “Because We Believe...that racism is a rejection of the teaching of Jesus Christ.”

One of the most treasured annual observances for United Women in Faith (formerly United Methodist Women) is titled “A Call to Prayer and Self Denial.” This year’s program topic is Racial Justice. This one-hour program will give women of faith an opportunity to focus on racial justice and have candid discussions on how we as individuals or units can address the issue.
The basic truth of our Christian faith is “We are all beloved children of God.” * Light refreshments will be available. *

A special offering, taken during the program by each church represented, will be sent to the Rio Texas Conference as part of a gift to missions.

The Call to Prayer Self Denial 2022 program was enjoyed by six different churches and twenty ladies held on April 2nd.

Postponement: details announced for General Conference.

General Conference further postponed to 2024 | The United Methodist Church The Commission on the General Conference announced today that the 2020 General Conference cannot be held in 2022 due to COVID-related and governmental policies/constraints.

March 23, 2022 will be the Day of Giving.

The new name has been revealed.
