Proud to congratulate and introduce my son, Dr Christopher E Winnie. He worked hard for this and will be a dedicated, compassionate, and extremely thorough Family Practice Doctor. Great news too, after residency he plans to practice here in Corpus Christi.

Apparently, it's a Barbie World now! But no pretend play in my office because we still offer zero wait time, same day appointments, no on-call docs, and patients still get my personal cell phone to call me anytime. Top that, Barbie!

No one wants a wart, but they happen. In collaboration with my colleague dermatologist, Dr Ryan Rogers at Padre Dermatology, and his effective recommendation, this patient’s wart which was stubborn , constantly returning, and growing, is finally gone. Without freezing or surgical removal the wart is completely absent and it took approximately 1 month with nightly application. Don’t live with warts.

One of the newer members to our team, Destiny jumped right in with her enthusiasm and quickly became a patient favorite. She divides her time successfully both at the front desk and performing nursing duties. She brings eight years of medical office experience to the table with her passion for patient care, and kind, friendly demeanor. Always on task, focused, and self motivated Destiny rounds out our office perfectly as our CNA. She is currently continuing her studies in Nursing. Outside of work, Destiny enjoys spending time with her family and son.

Breana Carrizales
Since 2019 Breana has been putting a smile on our patient’s faces with her kind, professional, compassionate manner. Starting out as an MA, she’s worked hard in the last few years to obtain her BS in Nursing in December of 2020, and we couldn’t be more proud of her for her dedication to advance in the medical field. She brings experience and expertise to the team for our patients. She goes above and beyond to make our patients feel cared for and listened to. Her calling to serve continues beyond the office where she also works as a Certified Lactation Consultant, assisting newborns and their mothers gradually ease their way into the beginning stages of life. She plans to further her education and eventually become a Nurse Practitioner. In her non working hours, Breana is a devoted mom and wife who enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. Please say “HI” to Breana!

Today we are proud to showcase our Office Administrator, Sara Ann Hartley. She’s at the helm keeping the practice running perfectly as she balances managerial duties and high quality patient care that our patients have come to expect. They love her! Always professional, calm, and kind to her staff and patients, she brings order, strength, and compassion to each and every day. Sara holds her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a focus on Nutrition and Exercise Science, Weight Loss Education, and Lifestyle Coaching. She began her career with us several years ago as our Weight Loss Coach where she honed her skills in practice management and patient care. Today she manages the entire practice demonstrating that even in a pandemic year, with all the new challenges she’s been faced with, she can rise above and never falter her staff or our patients. She’s a proven leader and strong patient advocate and we are proud to call her our Office Administrator. In her leisure life, Sara enjoys working out, traveling, and making memories with her family. Can You Get COVID-19 Twice? Despite what you've heard or hoped, no one is truly immune

As a primary care physician I treat certain skin conditions. One in particular: brown spots. Aka age or sun spots. With a simple, quick, in office hyfrecation procedure the spots are removed and normal, clear skin is the result.

Medical Quiz
Patient comes in to my office, 50+ year old female, with lump on her forehead which has a steadily grown over last 3 years to its current size in photos. Lump is non painful and non fluctuant. No history of trauma. CT of the area reveals nothing out of the ordinary. What do you suppose it is? Questions welcomed.
