If you must be outdoors, take frequent breaks in a cool, shady area and wear loose, light-colored clothing.

Symptoms of heat exhaustion include heavy sweating, weak pulse, muscle cramps, headache, nausea, and fainting.

If you experience any of these symptoms, it is important to seek medical attention immediately as heat exhaustion can lead to heat stroke, which is a potentially life-threatening condition.
