The damaged butt hinges were replaced and updated to a commercial grade continuous geared hinge. Continuous hinges distribute the weight throughout the entire door instead of the 3 point weight distribution when butt hinges are used.

This shower is made of fiber glass material which is why we recommended using a Frameless pivot system equipped with A header rather than our traditional hinged door set up. The header helps support the weight of the door while still giving the Sleek frameless feel.

We took a trip to Rockport, Tx to install our Modern skyline sliding glass shower with brushed nickel hardware.

Unlike our typical sliding door and stationary panel, this shower incorporates a 90 degree return panel that required precise measurements to achieve this beautiful install.

This sleek Skyline series enclosure is simple and elegant. One side has a fixed panel and the other side slides along on amazingly smooth rollers and a single solid rod. This unit features a 3/8” clear glass and a large 2-1/4” recessed finger pull.

We took a drive to Bayside, Texas this week. The US Post office called and said their entrance door was dragging and slamming and if we could get the door working properly again. A new set of pivots along with a new door closer had the door working just like new.

Today’s was great.

Today’s glass to glass hinged Shower install.

Door and return panel are 3/8” thick.
The door is hinged off a 1/2” thick panel. The panel must be 1/2” thick to support the weight of the door and is mounted with Cardinals Heavy Duty glass Clamps.

This shower was custom made so the door would clear the vanity when opening to a full 90 degrees. This door is also made to swing in or out depending on the customers preference...
