Portis Kountry Kitchen is no Longer Open under The Name Portis Kountry Kitchen! The Stiths were allowed to use the Name Portis Kountry Kitchen and Assume My Lease at 615 North Upper Broadway, Suite B110. They have opened a Restaurant Downtown on Chaparral Street. No One has been granted permission to use the Name, Portis Kountry Kitchen! I get calls, texts and messages inquiring are we open! I do refer them to the Stith's New Location. Please do support them! We will notify You if and when we reopen. Thanks for your support, since 2003!

Dr. Lee Berk, President of Berklee College of Music and Dr. Portis. His Dad-Lee Berk and Mom were the Founders. I had the honor to meet, have dinner and spend time learning much about them and the History of Lee Berk - Berklee! I was as a member of the IAJE Selection Committee to Interview and Select an Executive Director for The International Association of Jazz Educators! Went back a few weeks later for the IAJE Conference!
