Proverbs 10:11–32 contrasts the righteous and the wicked, focusing on their different speech patterns, their different lifestyles, their different attitudes, and their different destinies. Verses 21 through 27 are especially focused on the different results which can be expected from pursuing godliness, versus pursuing sin.

Ceremonial worship that involves place and time does not measure up to authentic worship that involves the soul of the individual.
There is a difference between soul worship and spirit worship. The soul appreciates beauty of the choir or music and values the ability of the speaker to communicate. However, spirit worship has a heart toward God.

Paul describes eternal life as God's free gift in Christ Jesus our Lord. When we trust in Christ, God gives us credit for Christ's perfect, sinless life and accepts the payment of Christ's death for our sin. The result, eternal life with Him, sharing in His glory, is given to us as a gift.
Paul seems to be asking, "Which life do you want?"

God Himself, in the person of Jesus Christ, became fully human, for God alone was good enough to pay the awful price for sin. Unless a perfect man from Adam's fallen race could be found to become humanity's perfect sacrifice, mankind as a race would be cursed, condemned, damned, and eternally separated from God, forever. Praise God that there is one God and one Mediator between God and every man, woman, and child that has been born into this human race. Praise God that we can receive salvation through Him – by faith. And praise God that our Mediator can empathise with all of our weaknesses and lives to make intercession for us. And He is our Lord Jesus Christ.

Full maturity and the complete sanctification of each and every believer (spirit, soul, and body) is Paul's earnest desire for all Christians. Some incorrectly consider that we can reach sinless perfection in this life, but this is unbiblical, for our old sin nature which resides within this mortal body, lusts against our new life in Christ. This will continue until we discard this fallen, earthy, mortal frame and are taken to be with the Lord forever.

The purpose of the Law was to reveal unrighteousness and to bring a sinner to repentance before a holy God, but the Word of God identifies two types of righteousness: one that stems from a works-based morality, which is achieved by rigorously keeping the Law, and one which is a faith-based righteousness, which comes from humbly trusting Jesus as Saviour and depending on Him at all times and for all things.

What a comfort to know that soon and very soon, Jesus will be coming back for His Bride. How we long for that day when we will see Him face to face and be with Him for eternity. Let us occupy until He comes and tell all who may listen to the glorious truth of the gospel so that more can be part of His Bride, welcomed into His presence, and always be with Him.
