Today was the first day in I don’t even know how long that we posted on here—can’t remember if I’ve ever taken that much of a break from E’s world. We’ve still been eating. Still been cooking. Still been running. Still been skincaring. But there is a lot of scary stuff going on in the world right now and it’s been tough to share simple things like charcuterie boards. But this one was just too perfect not to spread around. Happy Monday every one; be nice!

The almighty papaya. We try and we try and we try. We know all of its benefits but still can’t find the love for its flavor. Eating it anyways because of all that goodness but would really appreciate any and all ways you’re trying and loving it!

Why is creating a recipe the hardest part of all of this?! Still dreaming about this soup, good thing this batch made enough for leftovers today.

White Bean and Roasted Cauliflower Soup

- In large pot, sauté 1 white onion, 3 stalks celery, 4 carrots and 5 garlic cloves in full bottom coat of olive oil and a generous sprinkle of sea salt and crushed black pepper
- Once translucent add generous sprinkle of turmeric powder
- Once turmeric is fragrant, add 2 12-ounce containers chicken bone broth
- While all of that cooks way down, toss one well chopped full head of cauliflower in olive oil, sea salt and black pepper. Roast in oven for 20 minutes at 425 degrees.
- When cauliflower is fork tender, add to soup mixture along with two cans of drained and rinsed cannellini beans
- Two cups at a time, blend in until well mixed and creamy
- Drizzled ours with Greek yogurt, harissa and a lot of olive oil with bread from on the side

A lazy dinner mind of *Meatless* Monday

We’ll be back to our weekly meals soon but not quite yet. Spending more time working on a new January menu and still posting recipes, ideas and inspiration right here!

We’re tried and true ‘mocktail’ naysayers—we like our ‘tails with gin or grapes tbh but this was one we could get behind. kombucha by , fresh pomegranate perils and a drizzle of agave. Dry January is already going swimmingly and it’s still December!

Spent our evening talking about our favorite thing: FOOD!

Rich foods and overindulgence is what makes our holiday worth it—come the 26th we’re already ready for our reset! Who else is sweating and eating pounds of greens today?

Yes yes, we’re usually salad people but good bread calls for a good sandwich so that’s what we did! Double meats (soppressata and thick sliced salami), pickles and pepperoncini, mustard AND mayo, red onion and greens 🤤

We’re not quite “jammy egg” people but we like a deep yellow center. It’s all about timing. Cold water in a pan with eggs on a hot stove, four minute timer once it’s boiling then throwing it into ice cold water once the timer stops.
