Remember when we were kids...
In the golden days of summer, when the sun was high and bright,
We’d grab our poles and tackle, and head out before the night.
Barefoot on the dewy grass, with laughter in the air,
We’d race to the edge of the lake, without a single care.

The water whispered secrets, as it lapped so cool and clear,
We’d cast our lines and wait, with patience and with cheer.
The world was full of wonder, each ripple held a dream,
As we sat there side by side, by the gentle, flowing stream.

The sun would slowly set, painting skies in hues of gold,
We’d pack up our memories, and head home, our hearts bold.
Though years have passed, those days remain so clear,

Tomorrow afternoon we should start feeling the effects of Beryl. Though we are not in the current track, we are in the cone of uncertainty. And though it won't be a hurricane by the time it gets here, we will be getting lots of wind and rain. Lots and lots! Stay safe everyone!
