Getting my HEALTH back – getting my LIFE back!
After doing WAY too much – I ended up injuring several areas of my body and sought acupuncture treatment to help with the initial damage. My acupuncturist was able to help me ditch the crutch and get me back on my feet and was able to help with the pain and numbness that would wake me up several times a night. We were able to reduce a number of symptoms but not clear up all the symptoms and she referred me to Dr. Barton. At the same time, I also visited the walk in to make sure I wasn’t causing myself any additional injuries and I was referred to their Orthopedic department.
Dr. Barton began working not only on the injured areas but also working on re-aligning my back – and my posture began to improve as well as my symptoms beginning to diminish. The Orthopedic doctor felt that I had Carpal Tunnel syndrome and scheduled an EMG test. I continued to receive treatment from Dr. Barton while the Orthopedic doctor recommended a cortisone injection in my hand – which I was not looking forward to!
Thanks to Dr. Barton – the tingling, numbness and issues continued to subside and I was ABLE TO CANCEL the appointment for the Cortisone injection!
Dr. Barton truly listened when I described my symptoms, paid additional attention to the various areas that were causing me pain, issues and numbness and with the continued treatment – my symptoms ARE IMPROVING!!!
The Orthopedic doctor had referred me to the Hand Surgeon and when I asked to have my symptoms treated with the ABC Chiropractic treatments and possibility of physical therapy – he referred me for a few therapy appointments.

I had my initial physical therapy appointment, measurements were taken and a series of home exercises were prescribed just before Christmas time. With my hectic year end work schedule, I was very remiss in starting my exercises – in fact, the morning of my 2 week follow up physical therapy appointment was the first time I ran through the exercises so I could at least say I did them. The therapist was VERY PLEASED with the improvement of both hands and the measurements he did confirmed that fact! I didn’t have the heart to tell him that it wasn’t the physical therapy that had given me measurable results – but it was the adjustments and work that Dr. Barton had been providing.
I even have an old dance injury from many years ago that is beginning to “unwind” and has been improving as my spine continues to “unwind” from Dr. Barton’s adjustments.

I can not say THANK YOU enough to Dr. Barton for all his help fixing years of over use and abuse I have put my body through.

Dear Practice Members,
I have greatly missed all of you during the NYS on Pause! I hope you and your family are doing well. I am happy to announce that all restrictions have been lifted on professional services, including Chiropractic, starting tomorrow.
Our office has implemented important measures to mitigate viral transmission. You will notice we have spaced out the seating and we have access to hand sanitizer. Dr. Jason will continue to screen practice members and spread out the schedule to decrease the amount of practice members crossing paths. Please wear a face covering and continue to observe social distancing while in our office for the time being.
You may now start to get back on schedule with your treatment plan. We missed you all and hope to see you back soon. We are happy to schedule out as far as you would like as well.
