Happy June! ☀️ While May Bike Month has come to an end, biking lives on. OSU employees Andrea Norris and Chris Anderson bike with Chris’ children Lucy, age 11, and Emmett, age 10, for both recreation and to get around Corvallis. As playgrounds and hiking became less accessible, biking has proven a fun way to go on adventures, get outdoors, learn how to get around by bicycle safely, and spend time together. In recent trips, Lucy has led the way to learn important routes in town so she can bike and walk to destinations independently as she grows older – a future cyclist in the making!
