Here at Willamette, We all share one very special thing in common and its a love and passion for Animals and especially our own pets! In the spirit of that passion I thought it would be fun to ask our Doctors a couple questions on that topic.
We asked: When did they know they wanted to become a veterinarian, and what sparked their passion for animals?

Dr. Nelson answered and gave me permission to share is answers.

Growing up Dr. Nelson was not allowed to own pets despite loving all animals from a young age. Finally at age 20 Dr. Nelson got his first dog Gus the yellow lab. He knew then that was meant to be a Veterinarian! Now look at him! Yes he is accepting new patients!
