Sustainability has emerged as a global imperative, uniting all inhabitants of our planet in a shared mission. In harmony with this vision, LIULI has been steadfastly committed to an upcycling design furniture collection since 2022. Through this initiative, we have breathed new life into residual gating materials from past artwork firings, repurposing and revitalizing them. Recently, we unveiled our latest collection in Taipei, Taiwan, the birthplace of LIULI. The event garnered overwhelming success, striking a deep chord within our LIULI community. This collection will be available in the U.S. in Fall 2024.

Dragon Boat Festival commemorates the life and death of the Chinese poet Qu Yuan(屈原), who was a loyal minister of the King of Chu(楚國) in the third century BCE. Known for his patriotism and contributions to classical poetry and who eventually became a national hero. On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, dragon boat racing and zongzi (sticky rice dumpling) are part of the traditions of this commemoration. This traditional Chinese holiday occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar. May the day filled with positive energy with you!

[Baby Peace & Baby Ruyi Set of 2] This work is inspired by the images of the virtuous child and dragon girl who serve on either side of the Thousand-Armed, Thousand-Eyed Guanyin. Their adorable and cheerful demeanor is beloved by all, making them popular stars, symbolizing compassion and wisdom. [Joyful in Life, Joy in Nature] Gui (簋) vessel is an ancient bronze vessel typically circular or oval-shaped with two handles. Its bottom is rounded and it is often used for holding food. In ancient Chinese rituals, gui symbolizes harvest, harmony, auspiciousness, and also represents societal stability and harmony. The etching text was adapted from Confucius saying, "The wise are joyful, the benevolent are longevity." [Big Leaps Forward] Each little moment can be wondrous. Step lightly with joy for each step leaves a flower in its wake, each step bridges the gap between dream and reality.

Rousing Heaven and Earth to Good Deeds - There are two adult guardian lions and four children lions, which could be a symbol of family union. The main guardian lion is a linked, hollowed-out gourd-shaped motif, resembling the number "8," symbolizing the elder and younger guardian lions stepping on "fu" (prosperity) and leaping upward, signifying prosperity and fortune. The traditional imagery of the elder and younger guardian lions playing with a ball symbolizes cooperation and mutual success, conveying the concept of "harmony, sharing glory."

Embroidered Lion Dance - The paired guardian lions are accompanied by an abstract ruyi scepter as a ribbon in the center, their presence echoing the harmony between aspiration and fulfillment. Together, they form a dance of duality, a harmonious interplay of forces. Adorned with ribbons and a suspended embroidered orb, the piece captures the essence of collaborative creation and a luminous future.

Destined Harmony - a whimsical camellia flower tea light candle holder or a ring holder. A small round pond is added on top to give the full moon abstraction an extra effect. The concave shape adds that touch of everyday use to the whole sculpture, really bringing it to life.

A Harmonious World - Two hulu gourds, positive and negative, coexist in harmony. The design conveys Liuligongfang’s insistence on moving with kindness in a complementary coexistence, a philosophy carried through every thought, action and design.

Singular Elegance - camellia flower blooming with tranquility. Camellia flowers symbolize love, affection, and admiration. It's also a flower of resilience.
