Come to the Pine Hill Scholastic Book Fair!
The in-person store is open during the following dates and times:
Thursday 10/10 from 9a-8p,
Friday 10/11 from 9a-3p,
Monday 10/14 from 9a to 8p and
Tuesday 10/15 from 9a-3p.
The in-person store is only open to current Pine Hill students during their media hour during the school day. Parents, families, and community members may shop the book fair in-person from 3:15p until 8p on Thursday and Monday.

You can set up a Scholastic e-wallet for your student to use during their school day if you’d rather not send cash. Visit our online store to set up your child’s e-wallet.
Purchases made during our bookfair help the Pine Hill library stock up and teachers can add to their classroom libraries.
Studies show that kids read more when they choose books for themselves. And fostering a love of independent reading leads to a wide variety of benefits—including academic success and improved mental health.

Thank you to those who have offered to bring in items for our taco bar during the first night of conferences. We are still in need of ground beef, toppings, dessert, fruit, and a few other items. Thank you so much for your generous donations during last year's fun run. Because of your support, we were able to treat our staff to a wonderful coffee bar today. It’s a small way to show our appreciation for their hard work, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your kindness!
Pine Hill Families-unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to have the coffee truck event scheduled on Friday, September 27. We apologize and appreciate your understanding. We will be providing a coffee bar instead for the teachers and staff. Thank you!
Let’s “Taco” ‘bout conferences! 🌮 The first round of parent-teacher conferences are on Thursday, October 10. The teachers and staff at Pine Hill are working extra long days on these conference nights so we are looking for volunteers to sign up for an item to bring for the Taco Bar! Book Fair Volunteers Needed

Our school will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair, which will take place in-person on Thursday October 10th and Monday October 14th during fall conferences. The book fair will also be available online.
Volunteers will receive 5 Scholastic Dollars for each one hour shift worked; any Scholastic Dollars earned must be spent in-person during the 2024 fall book fair.
For students, it’s one of the most exciting events of the school year—but we need volunteers to make it happen. We hope that you can offer your time and talents to help. Every purchase at the Fair directly benefits our school - we use the proceeds to add new books to our media center!
If you’re available to lend a hand at this upcoming event, please sign up for a shift(s). Volunteer responsibilities include assisting students and families with checkout and keeping the shelves and tables organized.
If you volunteer for a shift during school hours, you must have a background check on file with the district prior to your shift starting.

Staff Appreciation Coffee Truck! Teachers and Staff at Pine Hill will get a free coffee by showing their badge. Also, anyone else is welcome to purchase a beverage. Stop by on Friday, September 27 from 7-9 am!

Today is Open House Day! Stop on by to visit your child’s teacher, see friends, and a bite to eat. Open House is from 5-7:00 with teachers outside starting at 5:45. Also, stop by the PTA table for more information. We hope to see you there! 💚🩶
