Meet Brody! 🐾

Brody is the star of Bandanas by Brody. He is an 8 year old rescued Labrador Dalmatian. Rescued in 2016, Brody was discovered to have been shot, with the bullet still lodged in his rib cage (currently not causing harm); He has evidence of a surgical procedure likely due to being struck by a vehicle; He also traveled from AL to MN for another shot at adoption and due to his high energy and adventurous personality, he was shipped around to 4 different potential homes. All of this within his first year and a half of life! Since Brody has found his forever home with us, he has additionally been diagnosed with severe generalized anxiety and epilepsy requiring medical treatment.

At the end of 2022, Brody began limping and favoring his rear right leg. After further vet visits and investigation it has become evident Brody is suffering from a cruciate ligament tear. This tear requires surgical intervention to restore function but has a great outcome! The issue… the vet is estimating the surgical cost just under $4,000, which is why Bandanas by Brody was created! These bandanas are made for a donation contributing to Brody’s procedure! Currently we are medically managing Brody’s pain and inflammation with medications and his new leg brace! However, we would love to get Brody back to his adventurous walks and zoomie days!

This page was started in honor of Brody, my 8 year old Labrador Dalmatian who is currently suffering from a cruciate ligament tear injury that requires surgical repair.

We create homemade bandanas in 5 sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL) that slip over your pet’s collar. These bandanas are easy for your pet to wear and they will not fall off like a regular bandana! Currently we have over 50 fabric choices so you will be sure to find one that suits any holiday or occasion. Our bandanas are fully customizable with your pets name, catch phrase, or saying of your choosing. Donations are accepted. All donations will be put towards Brody’s cruciate ligament repair.
