School🏫 starts in 5️⃣ weeks!! So now is the time to plan ahead and prebook your back to school appointments! I do fill up fast this time of year, so if you don't see any availability closer to the start of school, then most likely I am booked up and may not be able to accommodate last minute appointments. If that is the case, then I will start a waiting list if there are last-minute cancelations. Have a great August!!

I realized that since I do have a lot of male clients, I need to get more pics of all the cool haircuts i do! I am HORRIBLE at asking if I can take before and afters. I don't know why, I just feel weird asking 🤣 so my model in this post is my brother, whom I forced to let me take his pictures 🤣🤷‍♀️

Just a few (ok, maybe more than a few) foils to break up the old grown out dark color on the ends! Didn't want to go too dramatic right off the bat. But we added a money piece to brighten up the face. SO gorgeous.

Hi friends! I wanted to take a minute to talk about my summer schedule! For the most part I try to keep it pretty consistent, but this summer you'll see a lot of randomness due to mom life 😆 I'll be opening up some Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer and in those weeks I do that, my other day off will be during the week. I'll be working on my books this weekend and will be inputting any time off I am taking/adding Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays will still always be my evening shift (unless it's a holiday, I'm on vacation or something with my kiddo that can't be re-arranged).

My books are set to 90 days out, so I can't stress enough to plan your hair needs accordingly. I know school is about to get out, but my back to school time is insane! I highly suggest pre-booking your services, as I may not be able to accommodate last minute appointments around B2S and holidays! I try my best to find ways I can get everyone last minute, but sometimes I just can't make it work. And then I feel horrible. Around B2S season, and holidays, I already stretch my hours longer than my normal business hours, so I can try to accommodate everyone. With that said, what you see on my schedule is what you get and I typically can't make anything else work. If you don't see availability, most likely, it's not open. As I tell all of you, it still never hurts to shoot me a text to get on a list in case I have a cancelation or if I can maybe make something work last minute...it isn't a guarantee I can get ya in, but never hurts to ask.

Does your infant have reflux? Keep reading to find out how you can tell!

Reflux is a common problem in infants and occurs when the sphincter between the esophagus and stomach doesn’t function properly.

This dysfunction causes stomach contents to come back up, which can lead to discomfort and pain.

Here are a few signs to look out for:

✅ Back arching
✅ Coughing
✅ Gagging
✅ Poor eating
✅ Irritability after eating
✅ Weight issues
✅ Frequent vomiting
✅ Facial redness

If you believe your infant struggles with reflux, try increasing tummy time since head control is essential for optimal feeding.

Additionally, feed them more often and burp them during and after feedings. It’s also a good idea to keep them upright for a few minutes after they eat.

Before resorting to medication like a proton pump inhibitor, consider chiropractic care. A simple adjustment that corrects misalignments could provide relief for infant reflux.

I am excited to announce that effective immediately I will be revamping my salon menu. Good morning friends! I can't believe it's the middle of October already! Where does time go? With the cold weather upon us, that means the Holidays are right around the corner! Which also means I'm coming into my busy season! I have my schedule open through January, so I would highly recommend pre booking your appointment/s now to secure your spot! As the holidays get closer and I book up, it may be hard to fit in last minute appointments.
