Reducing or eliminating food-based chemicals like nitrates, TBHQ, BHA & BHT, artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, and pesticides is important because of their potential health risks. Here’s why:
Nitrates: Found in processed meats (bacon, sausages), nitrates can convert to nitrosamines in the body, which are associated with an increased risk of cancer, especially stomach and colon cancers. While some nitrates occur naturally in vegetables, excessive intake from processed foods may be harmful.

TBHQ (Tertiary Butylhydroquinone): A synthetic preservative used to extend shelf life, TBHQ has been linked to potential immune system disruption, increased risk of allergies, and even neurotoxic effects in high doses. It may also contribute to cellular changes that could promote the growth of tumors.

For real though...

I spent over 10 years grappling with bad skin. I spent loads of time and money on cures for my acne and ended up damaging my skin more in the process. I had prematurely aged my skin as a result and started developing brain fog, fatigue, and other symptoms as the years went on. 😔
