Let me reintroduce myself. As we dance into our 4th year in business I thought I’d tell you a little about the girl behind The Elle.

My name is Gabrielle most call me Gabby. The name Elle Lounge originated from my name gabriELLE. But also L stands for lashes which brought me to you guys. I’m 32 years young. Being surrounded by 20 something year olds daily keeps me hip. I’m a wife, salon owner, dog mom, aunt, teacher and self proclaimed fashionista. I live in the small town of Folsom Louisiana. My husband and I are working on our very own farm. I’ve been in business for myself for over 5 years. Time flies when you’re having fun and proving yourself. I didn’t decide to be an esthetician until I was 25. Before then I was in and out of college and working in the service industry. I didn’t know what I wanted to do or what my purpose was. When I got out of school and started working as an esthetician in the real world, something clicked. I had found my calling. Fast forward to now. I have a thriving brick and mortar business. I have an amazing team of seven professionals and growing. The Elle Lounge has become the leading place in our area for beauty services. We are the largest lash based salon in St.Tammany parish. Lashing is our foundation but we also specialize in many other services.
As a business owner I’ve learned many things. I’ve learned patience, power and self discipline. My confidence in my company and my team has blossomed. I know where we stand I know our worth and I will never forget where we started. There is a reason our employee turnover rate is so low. I work to build up my team, I push them when they are uncomfortable, and I praise them every second I get.
I know The Elle Lounge would never be what it is today without our clients. You guys keep us going. I’m the girl who does a little happy dance when someone books an appointment or leaves us a 5star review. Your loyalty to us doesn’t go unnoticed.

Year 4 will top any of our previous years. I have some exciting things to announce in the months moving forward. A new project has been in the works for over a year!!
