Smooth Body Wax Center

There are 2 types of exfoliatnts: Chemical and Physical. Have you wondered if what you are using is right for your skin type? I was there too!

A scrub, which is a type of physical exfoliatnt, is going to be great for all over the body to help gently “scrub” away dead skin cells (kind of like a gentle buffer for the skin).

A serum, which is a type of chemical exfoliant, is going to break down build up in the pores and help to lift dead skin cells so that they can be washed away.

I recommend both honestly. However, if you are treating ingrowns, a serum may be more effective. If you are preventing ingrowns, which is the case even if you are treating ingrowns 😊, a scrub and/or serum works well.

PSA: Your skin could likely use a little TLC as the season changes. When it gets cold and dry outside consider using warm or room temp water when cleansing your face. Hot water could cause the moisture barrier on your skin to be weakened. Also, talk to your estie bestie about switching from a gel base cleanser to an oil based cleanser to keep your skin balanced from the dry air. 😉
