Emotional post 🚨

One of my long time, loyal clients was just diagnosed with cancer. She’s been with me through so many different phases of both of our lives; marriage, babies, cancer journey of a very dear loved one, starting a business, etc. This is one of those times where I want to take the burden off of her because she will be starting treatment very soon and it’s my job to take care of her hair as I always have.

Community is powerful, especially small ones. Let’s come together to put a beautiful wig on her head! Ironically she and her family just donated a beautiful one to another sweet soul fighting the same battle.

I’m obsessed with in general but their Essential line up will keep you hydrated and smelling amazing without build up.

I can’t stop smelling my hair after I use it! It was formulated to make you feel like you just stepped off of a beach in Capri!

The other cool part about using anything Bleu is the extra special formulation you get to heal and repair the hair. They all (besides aerosols) contain Bleu molecule complex which delivers active ingredients into the hair through micro encapsulated sugar molecules treating the surface of the follicle and restoring the cuticle to virgin state. This stuff feels amazing and smells amazing!

Wanted to put some tips together for my extension and non extension wearing clients to prepare us for spring/summer months.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Less is more. Less heat, less washing (don’t take this too far though) ✋🏼
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Use the right brush! Wet brushes are not friends with extensions and they don’t release shedding properly.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Additional moisture is necessary in the warmer months. The sun takes a lot out of our hair and can cause excess dryness. Add a hydrating treatment to your line up like R+Co Gemstone masque or De Luxe Reparative masque. R+Co High Dive or F-Layer before blow drying will save your life and your dry time. 💦

• Extension wearers: Brush from bottom to top and wear your hair in a braid at night. Don’t go to bed with your hair wet. Just don’t. 😵‍💫

• Back to heat, just TURN IT DOWN. Let it get to its full heat capacity before styling to avoid making several passes over the same hair. 🔥

Played around with this soon to launch line up from and it did NOT disappoint.

Lifted my beautiful friend to a baby blonde like a champ using Chairlift and toned her with Stellar demi-permanent colors in 9PN + 10PA.

Hair was left in a silk like state, shiny and oh so soft! This was a megawatt blonde your heart only dreams of being! Paper white in person.

This is what a k-tip extensión grow out should look like! ✨

The best way to keep your extensions in the best possible shape is to:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✔️ Brush morning and night with a nylon/boar bristle brush.
✔️ Skip going to bed with your hair wet. Let it air dry while you’re doing laundry or another task so you can smooth the hair out to avoid matting.
✔️ Always use professional products! Hydration and moisture is key with extensions because the oil from your scalp won’t reach those ends so add a mask and a good oil into your regimen.
✔️ Lower that HEAT SETTING. If you wouldn’t bake cookies at that temp, don’t put it on your expensive new locks!
