🎅🎄The 2nd Annual Christmas In July 🎄Market on the Square is still on for Saturday, July 20, 2024 despite the forecast of rain ebbing and flowing in different directions. The event starts at 9 a.m. and is scheduled to last until 1 p.m. on the Square. We recommend bringing an umbrella just in case but also be ready to fill your complimentary bright yellow Christmas in July bag with unique and delicious purchases! Square businesses and restaurants will also be open to enjoy. The Square will be closed to vehicular traffic (starting at 4 a.m.) for this pedestrian friendly event and Santa will be joining us rain or shine!

🐶🐱And just down the street at Covington Fire Department, Georgia (2101 Pace Street 30014) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., there will be another opportunity to make a special purchase at the Covington Fire Department/Newton County Animal Shelter Pet Adoption Fair! Small cats and kittens and small/medium dogs will be available for adoption. Adoption fees can be paid with cash or check only.

The 2nd Annual Christmas in July 🎄 Market on the Square returns on Saturday, July 20, 2024. A festive celebration of artists, artisans, farmers market vendors and more, have a holly jolly time shopping over 80+ vendors from 9 AM to 1 PM in beautiful downtown Covington. Christmas music and an early opportunity to visit with Santa will have you fa la la la-ing as you get in some early holiday shopping! The Square will be closed to vehicular traffic to create a pedestrian friendly environment.

We’ll be getting all new merchandise on the website this week (probably towards the end so we can recoup a little;) As for the drawing, the deadline for token pictures is 12pm tomorrow afternoon….we’ll be doing a live drawing at 8pm on Facebook.
