The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service to the Agency’s commercial accounts. This involves the service of existing accounts as well as the onboarding of new accounts.

Responsibilities & Duties

-- Provide exceptional service by educating clients, answering questions, resolving issues, and communicating in a timely and professional manner
-- Communicating with the client, producers, carriers, and brokers on any changes or adjustments within the account
-- Marketing accounts for both new and renewal business to appropriate carriers as needed or requested
-- Service accounts by ordering and issuing binders, certificates, endorsements, and other related items while also verifying their accuracy
-- Maintains accurate and up to date information in the Agency Management System according to agency standards
-- Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed for client/account reviews
-- Verifies policies for accuracy with rating, coverages, billing, and other information as necessary
-- Develops a strong, interactive, and positive relationship with clients as the main point of contact to the agency
--Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, producers, other account managers, carrier representatives in a clear, concise, and positive attitude

Qualifications & Skills

-- Must have a high attention to detail and be able to perform well with frequent interruptions and distractions
-- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and others as needed

-- An active Property & Casualty insurance licensed is required, although can be obtained upon hiring.

-- Experience working in an Independent P&C agency is preferred, but not required.
