All public lecture series talks will be followed by observations at the Thomas More Observatory (weather permitting).

The observatory turned into a movie studio yesterday! KET was on site to film a story related to Western Kentucky University's Bell Observatory, featuring Dr. Ryle as a product of that facility and TMU student Lindsay Dawson as continuing that legacy of undergraduate research.

It's conference time! Last week was the 243rd meeting of the American Astronomical Society in New Orleans. This weekend, we have a group of students attending the Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics at West Virgina University.

The Math & Physics Club hosted a viewing party at the Observatory last night for students. The weather was cooperative enough to allow a glimpse of the Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn with spooky cloud cover.
