New addition to the family!
Remembering those who laid down their lives so that we can live the life we do. 🪖
1st ever Appalachian Wellness Festival down on 2nd Street right here in town. Rain has moved out and it feels great.
So I'm getting ready to do another epoxy tray. One way option B has what looks like a face or a horse I think. That's what it looks like lol. Option A would be a pretty cool river. Which way would you recommend and what color?
Any turkey hunters out there?
This is a custom display case we recently completed for a customer for his Mossy Oak and Mr. Fox collection and turkey calls.
We just completed an order for one our repeat customers for 6 of our But God plaques. They are laser engraved on some beautiful locally sourced ambrosia maple and black walnut wood.
Who has a "But God" story they would like to share? Comment below.
We can even engrave your testimony on a piece of locally-sourced Tennessee hardwood.
We had a handle break off of one of my cooking pots, so I cut out a new one from a scrap of maple. Figured as long as I was making it, might as well get creative with it. So why not a mermaid tail? 😁🧜♀️
Just finished this Prayer of Saint Francis plaque on a beautiful piece of poplar for another customer in Kentucky.
We have been so blessed to be able to work with customers throughout the state of Tennessee as well as Georgia and Kentucky. What can we custom make for you?
Enjoying this beautiful day working on a custom U-shaped bar for a customer in Kentucky. The middle section will be 10' x 2' with two 6' x 2' sides.
Some cedar graduation and appreciation plaques we made for Rockhouse Recovery Ministries in Spring City, TN.
A custom cedar sign we made for a customer for her horse tack room.
One of the benefits of having a wood working shop is that if something breaks, we can likely fix it. Like this lamp that the old plastic k**b broke off of. So we took a small leftover piece from a wood and resin project we had done and made this beautiful new k**b for it. And this is why I never throw away scraps, especially when they're this pretty. 😍
We had the privilege of making these cute little ambrosia maple animals for a friend's little boy who turned 6 today. He loves farm animals and they have a kitty so we picked a cat, a pig and a duck for him. They were a hit with the kids at the birthday party so we hope to be able to make more soon.
The finish on these is our food safe board butter which is food grade mineral oil and bees wax.
What can we make for you?
Another custom project delivered to a happy customer today. A Boston Terrier engraved into an epoxy covered butcher block counter-height table.
The wrapping paper got enlisted to shop duty this week. Sometimes you use what you have at hand.

Couldn't ask for a prettier day to be working outside with my bestie. Doing some work on a custom reception desk for a local new business. Also got a custom dining table in the works. Did you know we do work for both homes and businesses? How can we help you make your space uniquely you?
Just have to put the doors on the front and poly the tops and she's outta here!
Our wood Jack-o-lanterns are back. Here is what we have ready so far. More to come.
$25 each or 2 for $40. They are 7.5" x 9" and made from cedar and pine. Includes a battery-powered candle. Guaranteed to outlast a pumpkin 🎃
Quick update on our first outdoor kitchen bar! Color is coming along better than expected. Gel-Stain is difficult to get even. Doors are being built today and the black tin will go on this afternoon. Cheers, hope you like it.
Some folks build-A-bear. We build a bar. LOL
Time to get back to working on this custom outdoor kitchen/bar. I have been out due to being in ICU for 6 days, so that put us a little behind, but I'm ready to get back to work. Praise God! Looking to Him for extra strength today.
- Cherie
Please keep Cherie in your prayers. We are in the hospital.
Yesterday was day 3 of the bar build. It was a short work day, but we installed the tongue and groove flooring and picked up the Blackstone flattop grill and the tin (not pictured). The 2"x12" sitting on top of the bar is waiting to be cut down to size for the service bar. The lower bar will be Butcher block.
Did you know we do other projects besides wood art? In addition to building custom bars, Jason is also a Carpenter and has many years as a professional door and trim installer.
Today we are working for a customer who we have been installing new sub floors, LVP flooring, and trim as well as installing a new backsplash in the kitchen and cutting down some doors to fit the new flooring.
We hope to be back on the bar this afternoon.
Today was day 2 of the bar build. I forgot to take pics until this evening. Framing up the lower bar and making sure the sink, Blackstone, mini fridge and propane tank are all going to fit in their respective places.
Yesterday was Day 1 on the 10' outdoor bar build. A beautiful day and some good progress made. The dogs claimed all the cut-offs - chew toys!
It's time to begin building another custom bar! This one will be 10' long by 36" deep with a double bar top. It will be finished in our most popular stain: Minwax Aged Oak gel stain, with the exception of the beautiful butcher block top for the lower bar for food prep.
Our last in-stock But God plaque has sold. It's on some gorgeous curly ambrosia maple.
Looking forward to making the next one. These would make lovely Christmas gifts 😉
