"The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) is preparing for an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) vendor conversion, which will result in a temporary service interruption. From Saturday, Sept. 21, at 11 p.m. CDT until Sunday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. CDT, EBT cardholders will be unable to use their cards for food and cash purchases or withdrawals. Additionally, the EBT Customer Service Helpline (888-997-9444) will offer limited support during this time.

"We want to emphasize that this is a temporary outage, and our team is committed to restoring services as quickly as possible. We encourage customers to plan ahead to minimize any inconvenience this may cause.

"For more information, please visit www.tn.gov/humanservices."
