This Pride Month has me really thinking about all the trailblazers that the LGBTQIA+ community has gifted the world, but also how most of their lives unfortunately had to come to an end before they could experience all the change they fought for.

🤍 Keith Haring was one of an entire generation of gay men who were allowed to die because the people who should have been looking out for American citizens refused to take the HIV/AIDS epidemic seriously. The artist has such a recognizable style and his final painting, Unfinished, was created months before his death in 1990.

🤍 The backbone of the LGBTQIA+ community during this time (tbh, all times), were the le****ns who cared for/became family/held hands and hugged and cuddled/gave proper end of life celebrations that these victims deserved.

🤍 A couple more tribute art installations to loved ones who were positive and lost their battle with AIDS/were positive themselves that really pull at my emotions are "Electric Fan (Feel It Motherf**kers): Only Unclaimed Item from the Stephen Earabino Estate" by John Boskovich, “Untitled” (Portrait of Ross in L.A.) by Felix Gonzalez-Torres.

It's summer, you know what that means.... It's time to start our blonde journeys!!

Just because it's senior prom doesn't mean you have to change your whole vibe. Our vibe is what if Phoebe from Friends went to Bonnaroo, and I think that fits my client's boho aesthetic perfectly.

Our journey back to blonde has been a slow and steady one, but the only thing better than being super blonde for the summer, is having super blonde and super healthy hair for the summer!

Dedication to cosplay is dying your hair to match your character instead of getting a wig and tbh, I respect that kind of dedication.
