Fatty Crab St. John

According to a story in the book version of "The Beatles Anthology", John Lennon wrote the song "She Said, She Said" after meeting Peter Fonda at a party and listening to him go on and on about his near-death experience; on his eleventh birthday, he accidentally shot himself in the abdomen and nearly died. The song lyric "I know what it's like to be dead" is supposedly what Peter kept telling everyone. John says he altered the song title and lyrics from "He Said" to "She Said" in order to hide the fact that he had based the song on Peter.

Fonda, on why he prefers to be addressed as "Peter": "Whenever I hear 'Mr. Fonda,' I look over at the door, figuring HE's come back."

Peter directed father Henry in just one feature, "Wanda Nevada" (1979). Henry plays an old prospector in the Grand Canyon. Peter reportedly paid Henry $1000 for one day's work on the film after receiving a call from his father that he was out of work.

Fonda wore the Captain America jacket and rode his chopper a week around Los Angeles before shooting for "Easy Rider" (1969) began to give them a broken-in look and to get used to riding the radically designed bike. The American flag on the back of the jacket and on the gas tank of the bike caused him to be pulled over several times by the police.

Fonda got the idea for this movie after seeing a picture of himself and Bruce Dern on their motorcycles. He got Dennis Hopper (who was planning to get out of the acting business and become a teacher at the time) involved when he promised him he could direct the film. (IMDb/Wikipedia)

God, I love this place. Everything is treated with a imagination. From the cocktails to the desserts. I started with a tequila and watermelon juice cocktail that had some heat to it, delicious. Than came the many plates... Fried Chicken that was so perfectly seasoned and crispy you find it in its own category, a ramen that redefines the idea of ramen, butter poached lobster with Thai seasonings, and an incredible combination of pork belly, watermelon, Thai basil just blows you away. There are some very enjoyable places to eat on St. John's but The Fatty Crab dreams up a menu that is so unique and scrumptious you have to take some time out to enjoy this place. The NY branch is always packed to the gills, very hard to get in. Take this special opportunity and enjoy a meal here, you will walk away inspired.

Jon Herington Band Put on a. great show last nite, the first of 2 shows. It was fantastic. Band was tight as usual. Guest appearance " Good Times, Bad Times" by Nathan skurnik impersonating Jimmy Page brought the house down. 6.5 on the Richter scale.
