Gratitude Challenge Day 5

I am thankful that I am able to be retired from fulltime work and can afford to pay the mortgage and all the other bills we all have to pay.
I am very grateful to have all 5 senses in tact! Eye sight isn't too great but I can SEE!

One thing that I think about often, is that I have passed the 5 year mark after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer and I am cancer free! Please friends, check your neck regularly. If you feel anything out of the ordinary, get it checked out! ❤

We all have so much to be thankful for. What are you grateful for today? ❤

Gratitude Challenge Day 4

Today, I am thinking about small, everyday things to be grateful for.

1. Enjoying the aroma and taste of that first cup of coffee. Just can't get on with the day without it.

2. Enjoying a video call with my mom and my sister in Texas. Just watching Mom's face is priceless!

3. Hugs... I am a big hugger and when I get warm, embracing hugs, there's nothing else like it! Sometimes, it feels like all my broken pieces are being glued back together...

👋😊 We have been given a Gratitude Challenge by our Paparazi team leader, to post 3 things we're grateful for each day, Monday through Friday this week.

All three of my things for today are related to Theatre. In no particular order:

First, being an usher at PPAC for 17 years has given me the opportunity to see many, many fabulous performances! I love seeing my theatre friends who are attending the shows and getting great theatre hugs! Love introducing the theatre to the young ones that come for the first time too!

Second, the opportunity to use my creative genes and costume hundreds of cast members is something I never took lightly and thoroughly enjoyed! Even when freaking out during tech weeks. Really love seeing the little ones I costumed grown into young adults, watching them grow their craft.

Third, All started with a text from my daughter that said "Mom, you're in Bye Bye Birdie".. I'll never forget that day. I thought I would have a panic attack and die if I ever set foot on the stage! Little did I know how much I would LOVE performing with amazing and talented cast members and working with the production teams and just the whole process. Thank you Lindsay!

No doubt about it, the 1st thing I am grateful for is my family. I have been blessed to have such a loving, caring family who gets along so well and is always there for each other.

The 2nd thing I'm grateful for today is to have a warm and comfortable place to live with plenty to eat and really in need of nothing.

The 3rd thing I'm grateful for would have to be my 2 kitties. Sonny and Isabella have brought me so much joy and comfort over this last year. I'm very grateful I have them as my companions!
