AnglerFish Aquatics and Angler Academy
We offer top quality learn to swim lessons and a USA Swim team for kids 6 months and up.
Congrats Hillary! ❤️❤️
You know what time it is - it's day once again! This week, we're celebrating Hillary Sorin from the AnglerFish Aquatic program! She was nominated for the way that she goes above and beyond to make sure students feel seen and grow. I think we can all speak from experience; a good coach or mentor is priceless. Here is what her nominator had to say:
“My son has been attending AnglerFish Aquatics swim lessons at the high school for several years now. All of his coaches have been kind and helpful, but about 4 months ago, he started working with Hillary. She seems to ’get him.’ She makes him feel liked and seen. He is able to complete tasks with her that he has been working on for months with other coaches. I don’t think I can express how happy my heart is when I watch him swim, knowing the growth he has made with Hillary and the joy he feels in the water. He is so excited to go to practice when he knows that he will work with her and her encouragement has made him more confident. I am so grateful to her. She definitely has the ‘it factor’ when it comes to teaching.”

It’s a busy Sunday at Cumberland High School. We’re running the best swim lessons around. Swimming is a safety requirement; and a great foundation for lifetime fitness and wellness.
Busting out some old school training techniques. We are a couple days in to a two week phase of sneaker training. Variety in training keeps kids involved! There might be just a couple spots left in our training group for anyone that wants a chance at being the best. Come to and be a light that shines in the dark.
A special congrats to Jonathan Feole Haughey. He recently got some recognition on the New England Swimming website for his amazing record breaking swims at the 11-14 AG Champs.
Jonny also had a fantastic meet at the Eastern Zones Championships. He scored 102 points which represents almost 1/4 of the total New England Swimming team. Jonny represented New England Swimming well with lots of top finishes.
We’re exceptionally proud of his close races. The 100 and 200 free had margins of victory of .02 and .05. Jonny did great racing hard and getting his hand on the wall first.

Bryan leaves for his freshman year at Boston College soon, and there’s a huge lane space to fill. We’ll miss you Bryan, come visit!
Nothing like a little friendly competition.
Too many great pics to post them all. Kids are having an amazing time at the fast swims, sunshine, and lots of smiles
Major respect to my business partner and pre-team wizard Hillary Sorin. Teaching and hammering the fundamentals at the youngest ages, and making it fun. Look at the underwaters on these little guys!! Sebastian is 5! It makes my job with the older kids a whole lot easier with the older kids. Taking your time on these fundamentals will pay big dividends. Remember it takes years to build specific skills and your team in general. Enjoy the process.
5:55PM TONIGHT Bryan has the A final swim in the 200 back. UPDATED streaming link in Bio. Amazing 7th place finish in the 100 back last night!! Go Bryan.
