I am a strong believer that any sales company you join matters!. In 2014 when my Mary Kay Consultant of many years retired and was preparing to move to Florida, she told me it was time to become a consultant and do my own thing plus get my products at 50% cost! I said ok and 10 years later I am so thankful my friend gave me that opportunity! While continuing my real estate career of 38 years, I have never been happier doing my career job alongside my Mary Kay side gig! I never imagined the happiness and peace that would come those 10 years!

I never imagined being a beauty consultant with Mary Kay would heal my heart from the anger I had with God for taking my 30-year-old sister, Willa, away from cancer in the 70’s, away from her precious husband, 2 small children, my Mom, Dad and me and my sisters, Janie and Kathy. How I hated that word and how I hated God for decades! But thank God for bringing me my amazing husband, Happy Curtiss and Margaret Gormly, my Mary Kay Director! I’m a child of God again thanks to these two special people in my life! God knew what he was doing when he brought my Husband to me in 1996 and my Mary Kay director to me in 2014!

I love our Mary Kay weekly bible study and the amazing God-Fearing Women worldwide which live by Mary Kay’s Foundation of “God First, Family Second and Job Third”! I am at a peace with my life now through Mary Kay and I am forever thankful and grateful all because I said yes when the Mary Kay Opportunity was given to me in 2014 and lead me back to God!

In the process of becoming a beauty consultant, I came to value the Mary Kay principles and core beliefs in an even deeper way. This has become even more important daily as my business continues to grow and I am so very proud to be our Units Top Sales consultant for 2023 and 2024! And July 31st I became a Star Consultant earning the Red Jacket Level and now my sites are on that Iconic Pink Cadillac! For years I’ve been saying. I’m too old to go after that pink caddy but no more, age doesn’t matter! What’s in your heart and the ‘I Can’ attitude is all that matters!

Today I am just as passionate about our products as I was in 1977 when I became a Mary Kay Customer! If the opportunity had been shared with me back then I know I would have been driving that pink caddy now for many years but no time to look in the rearview mirror, full speed ahead to be the best I can be with this amazing

I was pinned this past Saturday as a Mary Kay Red Jacket Star Consultant, I am on cloud 9! I grew up with Barbie and had just about everyone of them up into my early teens. I wish I had kept them all but I am so happy with this one!
