Stunning actress Emma Stone has not changed much in the years we’ve seen her on screen and retains her natural beauty aesthetic so gracefully. Happy spring! Last week, people all over the world celebrated the spring equinox as their New Year—as Persians, we cherish this 3000 year old tradition, stemming from an ancient monotheistic religion known as Zoroastrianism, with decorations, parties, time spent with family and friends and many deep rooted traditions similar to other religions celebrating their faiths this time of year. This is a non-religious holiday and enjoyed by all Persians regardless of faith.

Some traditions we implement: making a special holiday table loaded with symbolism, spring cleaning, bond fires, growing wheat germ, painting colorful eggs, family centered dinner and a big picnic on the 13th day after New Year with friends and family hallmarked by dancing, music and plenty of good food.

Persians are by nature people with a culture deep-rooted in art, music, dance, poetry, celebration, and tradition. Our ancestors believed in a life full of celebrations and the enjoyment of life and life’s beauties.

This beautiful patient is a chronic teeth grinder, and suffers from jaw pain and headaches as a result. Her chronic grinding is seen in her large jaw muscles, which creates a lower facial square shape due to the muscle contour. Her after photo shows a slimming of the lower face with reduction in masseter muscle size after just 2 weeks of treatment. Her facial shape is now more balanced AND her jaw pain is noticeably reduced!

Beauty has had fillers injected several years ago with my practice and wanted more this time. She wanted noticeable change in her lips for the new year. Facial balancing was performed and the results cannot be missed in these before/after photos taken immediately after the procedure.

Starting the new year with my beautiful patient who has been bothered by tear trough depressions most of her life. She’s youthful so the tear trough hollows are genetic and not a deformity (as the misnomer many use to reference this feature).

Tear trough procedure with subtle mid facial rejuvenation—what does this mean?
