We had our annual year-end Հանդէս last night and our hearts can’t get any fuller with pride and joy! The evening was full of performances by all of our students who learned Armenian songs and poems. Our older students also wrote and directed a mystery play. It was the perfect celebration of the old and the new - honoring our past and embracing our future.
We are extremely grateful for the outpouring of support from our community who came to support our school and students. It was a wonderful way to end the school year.
It’s tomorrow! Please join us for a beautiful and fun program!
Do you want to know what they are up to? They just wrote a mystery play and they will present it at our hantes on Thursday, May 30! Join us and support our school!

Last night the students enjoyed a beautiful and interactive musical presentation by ! Khachig spoke to the students and their parents about the Armenian woodwind instrument, the duduk. He talked about his journey of how and why he was inspired to play this ancient and sacred musical instrument - while also playing and singing a number of Armenian songs. He answered all of our students thoughtful and curious questions. Thank you, Khachig, for your visit! We learned so much and we appreciate you sharing your knowledge and art with us.
We are proud to have duduk musician Khatchadour Khachadourian join us this Friday for a musical presentation. Event is open to all Armenain schools students at St Andrew.
