A bastion is a fortified area or stronghold usually within a fortress or castle. It is also a term used to describe an institution or person strongly defending or preserving particular attitudes or principles. As our namesake suggests, we are committed to self defense and the preservation of principles which allow us to become role models and leaders. This philosophy is outlined in the Bastion shield; a symbol of defense and protection.

Bastion had a great day of bouts this Saturday at the IKF/PMT venue. There were some tough competitors and great coaches from various gyms. Our fighters did a great job and performed with distinction enabling us to secure the most victories. A huge THANK YOU to Coach Jok and Coach Marco! Our coaches and fighters continued to lean forward in the foxhole and push the fight. We are looking forward to future events in CY2024!

Great news! Bastion Kickboxing is an official location supporting the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys-for-Tots mission! This program delivers to toys to children of all ages to include teenagers! Not only do they deliver these toys to families in need, they also deliver toys to military families in need as well. Our Bastion members and community can now donate toys by simply visiting the gym. We have a "Toy Drop Zone" right inside our lobby. If you're in the area and would like to donate toys, please stop by!

Coach Jok and I are extremely proud of our fighters today! Everyone tucked their chin, raised their gloves and went to work. The entire team performed admirably and are a testament to hard work, challenging training and the awesome stewardship of Coach Jok and Bastion. All of them represented our gym and the coaches with grit, courage and heart! Lastly, we could not have done it without the support of the families in attendance. We truly have become "One Team; One Fight". Job well done to our families supporting us and pushing us forward; outstanding job done by all who went into the ring today!

"Thank You" to everyone who showed up for our Self-Defense Seminar! It was a great time and great opportunity to drill and learn self-defense mechanisms. We are eagerly hoping to do it again in the near future. Everyone in attendance did an awesome job!

We had a great time at our Open house this last Saturday! Thank you to everyone who attended and to those families that offered support! Congratulations to all of our raffle-winners as well!
