Cypress Fairbanks Swim Club

Registration is NOW OPEN! Practice begins at Fleet on August 19th for water polo and competitive swim. Home School and non-competitive begins on September 3rd.

We have so many new programs this year. Home School swim is revamped with better hours and more options to fit your schedule. We are also offering Home School Aquatics where you will get a taste of swim AND water polo. We are bringing back our Non-competitive Group for swimmers interested in swimming, but not competing. There are NO VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS for these groups.

We are now offering a hybrid/combined program for swim AND water polo. This program is for those who want to play water polo but don’t want to give up swimming. Participants may attend a combined total of 6 practices each week.

Our Age Group competitive swim program is #22 in the USA, #3 for short course & #4 for long course in Texas and #1 in Houston/Cypress for our Age Group Program! Our newly created water polo program is off to a great start. We offer swim conditioning and dryland training while also having a ton of fun!

You asked, we listened! Age Group Bronze and Silver are coming to Bridgeland HS! Bronze practices on MW and Silver on T/Th/F from 6-7 pm. Practice begins August 19th! There are only a limited number of spots available, so register TODAY!

Bronze and Silver will also be offered at Spillane MS. Check our website for more information.

Tyler swam his 200 IM at Futures as a Bonus Event and earned his Futures Cut with his Prelim swim! We think he was happy with his swim.

Jackson grabbed ANOTHER Summer Junior Cut on Friday at Futures and broke Fleet’s 8 year old record in the 200 Breast.

Congrats to all of our swimmers who attended Futures! What a great way to end the Long Course season!

🌟 Our coaches are the best. Coach Rick was named as a Top 50 Age Group Coach in 2023. In 2021, Coach Colin was named the Age Group Coach of the Year. He was recently named as a Top 50 Age Group Coach. Coach Maryanne is Gulf Swimming’s Age Group Vice-Chair. She was appointed as a Coach for Gulf’s Open Water Southern Zone Select Team. She’s also the Masters Open Water National Champion. Coach Andy has coached a 2021 Olympian and 8 Olympic Trials Qualifiers. Coach Sarah qualified for the Olympic Trials in 1988.
🌟 We own a 50 meter long course temperature controlled pool. When schools are shut down for testing or holidays, all of our athletes come home to Fleet Aquatic Center for training. We just recently renovated our locker rooms.
🌟 Our swimmers are the best of friends. We ❤️ seeing their friendship grow each year. We work hard, play hard.

To celebrate the end of the 2024 Long Course season, our Junior Black swimmers enjoyed spending the afternoon having fun outside the water. We ❤️ the tight bond our athletes have with each other.

On the road again! Our Futures qualifiers are heading to Austin to compete while our seniors are heading to Justin to swim at Summer Senior Showdown. We are looking forward to a lot of fast swimming and great memories this weekend! Good luck to all of our athletes!

Our water polo team had their first scrimmage a couple weekends ago. It was great to see the progress our athletes have made in a short amount of time. UIL water polo starts in 2 weeks! It’s not too late to sign up for our boot camp. Join the fastest growing sport in Houston!

Congrats to all of our athletes who are going to TAGS! We are bringing a huge team to College Station. They celebrated with a party at Creekwood Grill. We are so proud of you and all of your hard work and dedication. Looking forward to fast swimming and great memories this week!

What a week for Fleet! Hurricane Beryl came barreling through Houston on Monday, but luckily, we were spared. With just 2 days’ notice we were able to run not 1 but 2 championship meets at Fleet on the same weekend. That’s a first for us! We’re so happy that both Gulf Senior and Age Group athletes had an opportunity to swim this weekend. Thank you parents for volunteering your time to ensure we ran 2 successful meets!

Our athletes had great swims and time drops. We are so happy for Roger, Whitney & Vaughn who got their first TAGS cuts ever! Kaylee got her first 11-12 year old TAGS cut this weekend! Ethan earned his 1st sectionals cut in the 200 Fly and Jackson earned a Futures cut in his 1500. Congratulations to all!

The honors keep racking up for Fleet! Coach Colin was the ONLY coach in the Gulf LSC that was given the honor of Top 50 Age Group Coaches of the Year in the USA from ASCA. We were recently ranked #22 age group program in the USA. Be a part of the Fleet Family and join the #1 age group program in the Houston/Cypress area.

Our swimmers were crazy fast this weekend! For some, it was their first finals and they showed off their new red caps.

Kim, Myla, Sofia, Brady, Julius, Kaden, Kyle, and Zel picked up their very first TAGS cut ever! All of Julius’ friends were super excited for him. Kaden said his lucky goggles helped him punch his ticket to TAGS. Alexis got her cut in the 800 Free! Christian earned his first Gulf cut!

It was a great weekend of swimming and hanging out with friends.

What a weekend of fast swimming for our summer league athletes! We had over 1,000 swimmers visit Fleet Aquatic Center over the weekend. Congratulations to the following Fleet swimmers for winning high point, Cayden (13-14 boys) at Ponderosa & Elan (7 boys) and James (12 boys) at All Stars! Amelia (9 girls), HsinYi (10 girls), Srianvitha (11 girls), Skye (14 girls), and August (7 boys) won high point at RWB! Grant won Huntwick’s Best All Around boy! Great job representing Fleet and your neighborhood’s team!

Our Meet Director, Adam, presented Bridgeland Barracuda’s head coach and president a RWB towel for coming out to our meet. Thanks to all of our parents, officials, Fleet coaches, athletes, and alumni for coming out and helping us run our NWAL championship meet! We couldn’t have done it without you!

Road trip! Our seniors and juniors had a great time in Huntsville, Alabama. They swam fast and had fun bonding as a team.
