Just finished doing the wood burning for this piece. Just give it a bit of varnishing then it shall be finished.

One of my favourite parts about this piece is it done locally and ethically source wood.

A little peak into an experiment I am trying out. It involves wood burning outlines, oil pencil crayons for colour and some Posca markers to add some pizazz.

Just finished this small 6"x6" drawing.
It was a fun exercise in shading/stippling, observing beautiful snow-covered pine trees, and trying to feel more love for winter. The last one is probably impossible!

Pocket Landscape
I recently finished this small landscape. We lost our power due to the but we were a lucky to be without power for only a day.
I was able to work on this with my camping lantern and scented candles to work on it.
Ink on paper. 3”x 3” (unframed)

Progress continues.

When you go to do a quick water colour and ink of clouds in the sky and it ends up taking you three weeks. 😅

Oh well it is done now!

Climbing Clematis Wood Picture Frame.
I love this piece and how it came out. I remember clematis' growing in the garden in summer it has me missing those sunny summer days.

This a wood frame with climbing clematis design on wood burnt onto the frame.

Another woodburnt picture frame. This one I made for my wonderful mother for her birthday. ❤

I had a lot of fun with this one and I was really happy with how the final product turned out. And most importantlu my mom loved it too.

In the last picture just can see a couple of woodburnt ornaments I made for my parents and my boyfriend's parents for Christmas. Unfortunately I don't have any really good pictures of the final products so I probably won't be posting them. But they were a ton of fun to make.

Another Christmas gift. This wood burnt cutting board was for my wonderful boyfriend. He loves to travel and wanted to give him something that encompassed that.

This was another learning experience. Unfortunately this is not a functional cutting board.😕 I had to put a coating of artist resin over the wood. When getting those dark colouring put too much pressure and created a very uneven surface. Which would just make it unpleasant to use. Oh well, we live and learn.

Hello everyone sorry for disappearing for a bit. Making handmade gifts for the holidays and January just took a lot out of me. But I am back and I am going to be posting some of the gifts I made for family this year.

This is a woodburnt picture frame I made for my older sister for Christmas. She loved it and I really enjoyed trying learning more about woodburning by jumping feet first into it...

I know this is an hour late but better late than never. I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to all those who bid on my pieces or even just looked at them. These little drawings were able to raise $4206.90 for Child's Play Charity! Never in my wildest dreams did I think they would raise that much.

Congratulations to the winner I hope these pieces bring you joy.

Sorry for the lack of posting. I have been busy making art that will be Christmas gifts. Which I can't post for obvious reasons.
