👩‍🎨 Meet the artist! The Beeman Hotel is gearing up for another of our artful events with local artist Margarita Gutierrez, brought to you by FGIII Fine Art Productions! Meet the artist August 29th from 6-9pm and enjoy a live performance by TraeNed.

Margarita "Maggie" Gutierrez, is a self-taught Latina artist who specializes in portrait paintings. Maggie is proud of her Mexican heritage. She was born in Dallas, Texas but raised in Guanajuato, Mexico. In 2020, Maggie decided to dedicate time and energy into investigating her artistic talents. She started with acrylic paints on ceramics and soon moved onto painting detailed portraits on canvas.

"God blessed me with a talent that I'm passionate about and that I devote my heart into. I specialize in creating paintings on canvas that share visual and meaningful memories."

Maggie has developed her creative process and inspiration from the great paint-masters in history, you'll see this in her "recreations" work. She finds comfort, strength and guidance from her culture, her faith, and her music.

"My paintings give me purpose! I hope to fill my daughters hearts with inspiration as well as many others who might come across my work."
