This past year has been heavier than we could have predicted. You’ve seen the statistics and the headlines. They’re only a snapshot of the realities we have lived. Only with community support have we persevered and it is the only way to continue.
We have lost too many to violence and countless others have been traumatized by incidents they must carry with them still. Normalize emotional and mental support for one another. We are stronger together.
Our Gang Phet is a dish inspired by Chef Donny’s nostalgia of Southeast Asia. It’s a spicy red curry with fresh aromatics and your choice of protein. Best enjoyed with our noodle-wrapped Yaw Sen Khao P**n spring rolls!

With the recent act of violence against AAPI, we’ve teamed up with other AAPI own restaurants across the nation. Working together in supporting and protecting our community. Link in bio for shirt purchase and donations. Thank you

Hi! I did a little something. It’s been disheartening + maddening seeing the rise in anti-Asian violence + hate crimes (esp towards the elderly). But seeing allies speak up and amplify the issue has kept me optimistic with a desire to do something and help out. So, with my good friend , I’ve made a shirt to benefit AAPI (Asian American & Pacific Islander) communities by listing over 100 AAPI-owned restaurants across America to support as they continue to face hardships. 100% of profits will go towards Support the AAPI Community Fund organized by GoFundMe. Swipe to see the full list of restaurants.
Why a shirt? Clothes can be a conversation starter. Having convos is one way to engage, share, learn, understand, and heal with others. Why restaurants? Food brings people together. Plus, I just love dining out + traveling 😬 The listing on the shirt is just a start: a mix of my favs, friend’s favs, and recommendations from restaurants I reached out to. Tons more AAPI-owned restos are out there. It was harder for me to get permission from the smaller mom&pop shops. So, support where you can and get to know them + their story. (Feel free to drop more resto names below, keep the list going)
It was such an awesome feeling from start to finish working on this… just seeing how pumped everyone was to be a part of the shirt and the bigger picture of uplifting the AAPI community — goes to show how things can be possible and stronger when we’re in it together. Change is possible and stronger when we’re in it together. And that’s why it’s important to keep the awareness going, to keep striving for equality + accountability to end racist violence.
Support in whatever capacity you can and stay optimistic + think positively about tomorrow, next week, the following year, and the bright future. Because the future IS bright if you want it to be.
Gang Thom Khem or Gang Po lo, is a dish that has many variations in our Asian culinary culture. It’s a dish that signifies who we are and how cultures can blend ingredients together and respect each other’s take.
This dish is made by our Chefs in the kitchen, following guidance form Chef Donny daily and with pride. Understanding how to utilize the complex ingredients to create a perfect balance dish. Sweet, salty, savory, with hints of spices from star anise, cinnamon and coriander. It’s a star on its own.
Place orders through KhaoDallas.com, UberEats, or Favor to take out. Also, you can enjoy your take out on our spaced out patio.
New Dish Alert 🚨, for this weekend only. Chef Donny and the kitchen tribe is introducing Khua Naw Mai. Stir-fry fresh bamboo with choice of pork belly or salmon.
It’s funky fresh, spicy and damn delicious. A dish that was inspired by Momma chef and travels to Lao and Essan region of Thailand. It’s a dish that hits your soul with funky beats in your mouth.

Here’s our Mok Rice cake, filled with chives, garlic, lemongrass, dill, and bai ki hood (kaffir or Makurt leaf). The perfect balance with crispy fried top and bottom layer, soft chewy rice dough, and herbaceous umami filling. It’s a perfect balance rice cake that you’ll enjoy.
Each week it’s made fresh by every one of our kitchen tribe members. So each one is never exactly identical, which is one of the greatest thing about these cakes. Each chef puts their time and effort into making it there own. Order one for your self or order two to share with a friend.
It’s patio weather this weekend, so come out for some Gang Kari and Beer Lao. Choose from chicken, fish, or a vegan version with tofu. A dish your taste bud would enjoy.
P.S our patio is socially distance friendly. We take extra precautions to make sure all our customers and employees is safe. We still require our patrons to wear your mask and our staff are required to mask up as well.
