It is so important you know we are self aware queens here at Central Dentist and understand that we are not perfect (for those of you who said “WHAT” aloud, thank you). However, we do take pride in trying to be the best versions of ourselves.

We aim to give patients an experience that resolves any worries they might have walking in the door and walk out with more oral health knowledge than they had before.

Our staff attends regular trainings to assist in better communication and scheduling. And although no one loves a bad review, we acknowledge experiences that we can grow from.

We are so grateful to have patients that are willing to share their experience with us with others.

Let this be your sign to call and make an appointment for your first visit or routine cleaning if you haven’t been to the dentist in a while. If I were you I’d call Central Dentist but I may be biased. *wink wink*

Call us, reserve an appointment, color in the lobby, and take control of your oral health! Please message us if you have questions or call our office.

What does MI Paste do?
The minerals in MI Paste make it difficult for the bacteria in plaque to adhere to the tooth surfaces. MI Paste is found to strengthen teeth, be effective in helping with sensitivity, acid erosion and aide in assisting patients who have a high incidence of dental decay.

• This product has been used to help patients who have white spots or other minor tooth discoloration which is typically caused by lack of calcium.
• It restores the oral mineral imbalance that causes demineralization by replacing minerals while improving saliva flow.
• MI Paste can benefit patients who have dry mouth due to medication, are undergoing chemotherapy, expectant mothers who experience an abundance of morning sickness, or children with disabilities that have trouble brushing.

How to use MI Paste?
After brushing with your typical toothpaste (we recommend fluoride-free), use a separate applicator (toothbrush, finger, cotton swab, etc., whatever is available to you) with a pea-size amount and apply to the surface of your teeth. Leave the paste on, undisturbed, for a minimum of 3 minutes. Do not rinse the product off. Leave on between meals or overnight.

If we missed a question or concern, ask away in the comments!

This image was achieved by CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography). These static images are a process of our Airway Analysis here at Central Dentist.

The top image is using colors to reflect how narrow this airway is. For those of us new to CBCT scans, this narrow airway, with lots of red, is ❌NOT❌ the goal.

This is a patient who chose traditional orthodontics(braces) to straighten their teeth. During the course of treatment the teeth were pushed back restricting the airway.

Would you like to know what other options this patient could’ve had?

We truly want our patients to have a great experience from paperwork in the lobby to their dental visit with our clinical team!

Did you know💡

• We have word searches & coloring sheets in the lobby to relieve the stress that can sometimes come from waiting (or let’s keep it real ~ bored kiddos).

• We have a Comfort Menu patients can utilize to help make their visit more relaxed.

The Central Dentist team is so grateful to have patients that are willing to share their experience with us with others.

OralID is a simple examination that can be done in less than 5 minutes at any visit in our office. OralID is a small, non-invasive device that uses blue light to detect oral cancer and precancerous abnormalities. The blue light is shined into the mouth presenting healthy tissue as green, while abnormal tissue appears dark.

Having yourself screened for oral cancer at your next dental visit is a great way to be proactive and stay in tune with where your body is at in your overall health journey.

Not all cases of oral cancer can be prevented, but the risk of developing these cancers can be greatly reduced if you avoid some/or all risk factors.

We have listed a couple things that you can do now to help prevent oral cancer.

• avoid all forms of to***co
• manage overconsumption of alcohol
• protect yourself from UV light exposure (use sunscreen)
• maintain a healthy diet by limiting processed foods
• maintain oral hygiene
• see your dentist regularly

We don’t want you to be perfect, we just want you to be healthy! Let us know how we can help.

Why start treatment early?

• headaches
• bed wetting
• mouth breathing (while sleeping)
• grinding teeth
• ADHD
• snoring

These are SOME of the symptoms that children with poor oral habits and malocclusion may have due to a restricted airway and limited ability to breathe.

Questions? Comment them below!

Check out this transformation!

This client came in with previous metal filling in between the front two teeth. Central Dentist was able to replace this metal with a more holistic biocompatible material that has a better functional and esthetic result and doesn’t release metal into the patients body. We call this a win!

We love seeing results like these at Central Dentist! Her mom said she “loves seeing what an amazing dentist and appliance can do for her kid.”

Our Story

“The doctor of the future will give no medication, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.” - Thomas A. Edison

We offer comprehensive oral & maxillofacial therapy to prevent dental disease & optimize systemic wellness. What most people associate with dentistry today is the treatment of disease. Common symptoms include cavities, broken or infected teeth, jaw joint pain, swollen gums, among others, and the treatment for these issues includes procedures such as crowns, fillings, extractions, braces, implants, etc. These procedures are important and unavoidable once the symptoms of disease have progressed to an irreversible threshold, and we use these treatment options everyday with our patients.

But what often goes undiscussed but we think is arguably more important to understand, is that these procedures are only treating the symptoms of bigger issues and can be entirely prevented. These procedures are not treating the etiology, or the overall root cause, of these symptoms. Until these patients are educated on the root causes of these symptoms and then are treated with comprehensive, holistic therapies, they will continue to suffer from these same signs and symptoms of chronic disease.

Our Super Health program is founded upon the same philosophy as functional medicine. We offer holistic myofunctional and dental therapy to guide patients along a path to sustainable oral health and wellness.
