We appreciate people wanting to help kittens get to safety, but if you're helping kittens (best time to rescue kittens is around 5 weeks), make sure you are also helping the adult community cats get spayed/neutered or kittens will continue to appear OVER and OVER again.
When kittens are scooped up without a mom, she goes into heat fairly quickly and will have another litter in 2 months. It is vital to stop the cycle of nonstop littering and to get mom cat spayed to end the cycle of breeding!
Please contact us for information about low-cost clinics and TNR in and around Charlotte, NC - https://forms.gle/ca34KiC1jnEJx5Eg7.

SHELTERS and RESCUES ARE FULL. Please make sure that pet cats and community cats in your area are spayed and neutered. We must END the cycle!
A huge THANK YOU to our friend, Ginny, for donating cat food for our community table on July 20th! π
This is certainly a start!
If you can, please help us by sending dog or cat food our way to be shared with our neighbors that need it the most. πΎ

We would like to also provide as much pet food as possible to as many low income families as we can.
If you are in a position to help, please consider donating just a bag or two of dog/cat food. πΎ

Message from Owner: Our sweet kitty cat Eleanor went missing on Monday or Tuesday. Weβve looked all over our neighborhood but donβt see or hear her anywhere.
Lost or found a pet? Report it to PawBoost here: https://www.pawboost.com/l/ndrp
Please be cautious. Early morning walks are best.
Temperature this week is going to be brutal. Remember to help the wildlife by putting out containers of accessible water. Pans, dog bowls, buckets, small pools β¦ anything that is refillable and reachable. If the container is large enough, like the small plastic pool I have here, place some branches in it so if smaller critters fall in, they can climb out safely.
Semi-feral mommy cat & kids are looking to relocate into a home of their own. They are currently renting a basement apartment in the Dallas area. They are each willing & able to travel. Mom would like to keep kids in a good school district, but the kids would prefer to be homeschooled. They could really use the one on one attention. Kiddos are 3 months old & were born on the streets. They need a little time to learn to trust people.
Mom cat is around 2 years old & would love to find her dream home in a barndominium with skylights & preferably a garden.
Everyone will be fully vetted before leaving.

Dr. Burch graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2011. She moved to Georgia shortly thereafter where she has been practicing small animal medicine. Dr. Burch also works closely with the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) providing community assistance to pets and owners in Floyd county.
In her spare time, Dr. Burch stays busy on her family farm. She is married with two young children who help raise the chickens, ducks, quail, turkeys, guineas, geese, sheep and pigs! She also spends time tending to the large family garden. She is blessed to share life (and chores and childcare!) with her mother, mother-in-law and father-in-law who also live on the farm.
