The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts.

They can be found participating in parades, partaking in motorcycling events, and supporting the communities in which they live, work, and play.

American Legion Auxiliary - Unit 111 meets the second Wednesday of every month.

The veterans (Legionnaires) at American Legion Post 111 meet the first Wednesday of every month. If you are a member and haven't attended in a while or are interested in membership - the next meeting will be Wednesday, August 7th at 7:30 PM. Come out and meet our new Commander, David Stokes and his Executive Board of Officers.

The next TAPS meeting will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at American Legion Post 111, 2587 Scoggins Road, Dallas, GA 30157.

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), https://www.taps.org, will be meeting on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at American Legion Post 111, 2587 Scoggins Road, Dallas, GA 30157. The meeting will be from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Auxiliary Room this Wednesday and every fourth Wednesday of the month.

Taps is a “national nonprofit organization providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources for all those grieving the death of a military or veteran loved one.”

Judy Lammers, the surviving spouse of Army veteran Michael Lammers, will be the facilitator for these in-person care group meetings. All who have lost a military loved one are welcome to attend.

Thank you to all who helped set-up and decorate the Event Hall at American Legion Post 111 yesterday. Everything looked amazing and your help was appreciated. Thanks to all who surprised us and helped clean-up the room last night. The clean-up today is cancelled. Thanks again!
