Im done for the year. I ran out of everything. It’s time to start prepping for our Christmas dinner.
Remember, we’re not serving sandwiches until after Christmas.
Right now we’re keeping up with lasagna demands so it’s a good day to buy them.
Paul is opening the store on Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
We will be closed the day after Christmas.

Good morning. Today will be my last fig cookies. Im out of filling. I have Tarallis too.
I’m making snowballs, sesame seed, and Tarallis for tomorrow. On Thursday, I’ll be making Tiramisu orders so I’ll have some for the shelf. Friday, I’m not sure yet. I’ve had a lot of fun baking and visiting this holiday season. Thank you for supporting my little business. 🎄🎄🎄

Good morning. I’m working on a very big order this week but I did manage to bake some fig cookies this morning. I’ll have fig and Tarallis on the shelf tomorrow. Next week I’ll be baking cookies all week. Maybe Tiramisu. Now here’s a little hint, if you are serving Lasagna for Christmas, Monday is going to be a good day to buy them. Remember, you can freeze them until Christmas, as well as sausage and meatballs. Last year they had a crew in the back making 300 lasagnas a day and we sold out by 1:00 everyday. It was scary. 😱 We are not holding or taking orders because there is no place to put them. I saw people buying 4-6 at a time. Maybe they were selling them on eBay. 😂 Anyway, I’ll be baking and watching movies Behind The Chips so be sure to say hello when you come in. 🎄🎄🎄Have a good day.

Good morning. I’m out of fig cookies but I have Tarallis. I’ll start baking fig cookies again sometime after Thanksgiving. Good morning. I’m back for the holiday season. I’ll have fig cookies and Tarallis on the shelf tomorrow morning. I’ll have more next Friday.
I can only work part time now but Im keeping cookies a priority during the stressmas, I mean Christmas season. Just a friendly reminder. Get your lasagna now. They are not taking orders. Plus, for the last two years, with 300 lasagna for each day, we ran out before 1:00. Many customers did not get their lasagnas. Get them early, they’re going to still taste great. Okay, back to baking. ❤️❤️❤️

Good morning. My goodness it’s so hot. But we’re still busy at Jimmy’s. Yesterday I made cream puffs and I also have cream cake and tiramisu. I’ve had a good summer with my family and friends and I’m back to my regular schedule now. Be sure to say hi if you are in the store today.

On a day like today it’s always nice to have something cooking on the stove. I like to add slices of Romano cheese towards the end, then let it steam for about 15 minutes more so the cheese can melt. Yum. Then let it rest for about 5 minutes.

@andiemacdowell you so understand . She doesn’t want to go on with charade of pretending she’s young when she isn’t. 
I luckily have avoided the grey debate as it hasn’t happened to me yet .. though everything else has! 
The long hair debate for my age is still relevant especially as I looked better with it short… as long as I went to a hairdresser daily . That doesn’t work for me . I grew it long again as the weight controls my hair’s tendency to look like an electrocuted loo brush . Maybe now I have a Dyson hairdryer, I’ll try again . 
On the topic of ageing .. where does one draw the line between maintenance, replacement .. or just letting it go ?. Are age spots meant to be burnt off ? Is a neck that’s had a number done on it by a plastic surgeon a requirement for happy ageing ( I think so .. Murray doesn’t !) 
Where  does the “charade “begin and end ?  I have no idea .. tell me your thoughts . 
I don’t want to look dusty but equally I don’t want to look like Iris. She’s not my role model. I think she is a prisoner of her own style .  I don’t think the answer to life when you are old is in heavy accessories.  Especially as you can’t dance . On the other hand it’s been a wild success in her life . At a 100 years old , she is busy and relevant ! And starting businesses left right and Center . So Ive clearly got that wrong! 
Im so grateful Im not an ageing beauty engaging in her loss of power. It must be very tough . 
Ageing is a fascinating process that seems to be a part of life whether you feel like it or not. So like @andiemacdowell , I’ve decided to like it ! Why the hell not ? I like being the wise owl looking at the generations below nodding my head saying “ you ain’t seen nothing yet !” 
It’s coming your way thick and fast , my darling .. one minute you are 35 and the queen of power next minute you are 65 .. it’s all over in a heart beat .. So my wisest advice is build up what lasts , and it isn’t your smooth sexy skin , your gleaming silky hair , your lithe muscles , the ability to make men and women look at you. I can vouch for that. And be nice to old people !It is you next ! 😂😂😂 #serenacrawfordthoughts

We had the big wine sale yesterday, and I ran out of everything. I’ll have something on the shelf by this afternoon. I had a surprise visit from my cousin yesterday. We haven’t seen each other in years. She brought me this photograph and we had the best time on Memory Lane. (That might be why I ran out of desserts.) The little boy in the photo is Dr. Joe Piranio if anyone remembers him.

Hello. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. My daughter and son-in-law hosted a fun filled Easter day in the country. We had a terrific time.
I’m trying to bake cream puffs but they keep collapsing because of the humidity. I may have to get my rosary beads. Right now I have tiramisu and I’m getting ready to bake a cake for tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great day and I’ll see you soon.
