The Iron Man Golf & Darts Tournament is back!!
The tournament date is Sunday, October 22. (Cowboys bye week)
We only have 40 spots so sign up soon to ensure your spot on the list. You can sign up here or at the bar with your $100 entry fee.
For those of you who don’t know what this tournament is…the Golf portion of the event is 18 hole best ball tournament with your partner followed by lunch back at Drinks Saloon and then the Darts portion of the tournament begins. All 401 double elimination. You receive weighted points in each of the two events and the winner is determined by the highest number of points.
The blind draw for partners will be at 7:00pm at Drinks on Friday October 20th followed by the Calcutta (live auction). The Calcutta is where anyone present can bid on a team they believe can win the tournament. You don’t have to play on the team to bid on it, and you don’t even have to be on any team to participate in the Calcutta. So there is two pots in this tournament. The players pot, to the people that place in the Golf and Darts tournament and the owners pot, to the people that place with their teams they purchased.
All you really need to know is that this is a great opportunity to have some fun and win some money!
If you are a golfer but not great at darts or a dart player and not great at golf, your partner can pull you up so come on out and play!

A new exciting opportunity for dart players

Drinks Saloon’s Iron Man Golf and Darts is coming soon so be sure to sign up now. If you are interested this event consists of a golf tournament starting at 10am at Luna Vista Golf Course on Sunday, June 4th and follows up with lunch and a darts tournament at Drinks after golf. The cost for both greens fees and the darts tournament is $100. Friday, June 2nd at 7pm is the blind draw for teams and the Calcutta. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

We are currently looking for two more rookie dart players to make a new team. If you have ever been interested in learning darts or starting league let us know asap. Must know by Tuesday at the absolute latest.

Great time today at Drinks Saloon as we hosted a New Employee event for Texas Instruments. 53 teams in the dart tournament dwindle down to the grand champion, who left with a brand new set of darts and a bitchin’ Texas Instruments visor! We are now taking signups for Drinks Saloon’s summer money league, Mixed Doubles Darts! League will start on May 25th on Thursday nights. Cost is $80 per player with a bar match. I will post the format below, but it order to give a good accounting of the money I will need to see how many teams sign up. More details to follow from there.

This Saturday at Drinks Saloon we will be hosting a fundraiser for young Brantley, who had a heart transplant in January. Please join us anytime after 6pm to check out some of the raffle prizes in house and play in the dart tournament at 8:30. The presale raffle prizes of PlayStation 5, 70inch 4K QLED TV and the $500 Southwest Airlines card will also be drawn this Saturday. This weekend at Drinks is a fun one. Friday night we kick it off with Jovan and Jim’s Birthday Shenanigans on St. Patty’s day as well as the Calcutta for the Mixed Iron. If you aren’t signed up yet, please do so by Wednesday. Then on Sunday we will have the Mixed Iron - Bowling and Darts Tournament. Starting that party over at Plano Super Bowl at noon and then heading back for lunch and darts at Drinks!
