This piece has lived an interesting life I’m sure of it. At one point she lived in an antique store and still has that price tag on the back. This would be a gorgeous piece to incorporate into yout next gathering. I would use this to lay out beautiful pressed linen napkins. Or underneath a flower arrangement, or even use as a treat tray piled high with Individually wrapped cookies or brownies. Probably not best to put food directly on her. 🫣

I hope you you know that I try to keep you engaged in my whimsical world and I do it in my own way. I suppose I could just show my china in a table setting, with napkins and crystal, but that’s not really what I do. I create the magical aspect then hand it off to you to dream up the rest. This gorgeous set has an extra piece in the main setting. All of this set with exception of the bread plate is about 100 or more years old. The super star dinner plate is showstopper , it’s detailed, rich and full of gold. That plate mixes white with cream color and a stunning band of green. I do my best to mirror that with balance and sophistication . All pieces are in great vintage condition. As you can see the dinner plate has normal wear for the age and gold loss but it makes it even more charming.

Royal Albert never ever tires of Old Country Roses, their Instagram feed is post after post of this pattern-still. British Vogue will be featuring OCR with a very famous Billionaire on the cover, for September issue, the biggest issue of any fashion magazine every year. I still consider this pattern to be an aspirational set. When you present it like this, it just means you know a thing or two about style and creativity . When something is a classic it can be relevant and gorgeous indefinitely.

This is a mix of all bone china. The rich red of the Aynsley perfectly compliments the deepest richest reds in the OCR-Old Country Roses. I think the color may blend a bit better in person than it does in photos. All the pieces are in great vintage condition. The Aynsley red does have a few nicks and scratches in the enamel, which is normal for the age and style of set. I’m happy to send more detailed pics of that if you need clarification. But still in really beautiful condition.
