The biggest lesson I learned during this shoot was to let go of the planning & control. More often than not, in fashion photography, the wow photos are a product of meticulous planning. Relinquishing control is not one of my strong suits so I couldn't be happier with the final product of these photos!

Hand picked wild flower bouquets are the prop we never knew we needed. Spontaneous props are my favorite.

As much as I'd love to take credit for this shot...it was all . She had some great ideas to incorporate the hat in the photos. Team work makes the dream work:)

I was beyond nervous stepping out of my comfort zone taking these engagement photos last week, but I would do anything for two of the most special friends. ⁠

After researching engagement photos the best quote I found was..."Your only job is to be absorbed in one another..."
