Long post alert 🚨 Testimony 🙌🏾

A little over a year ago on November 1st I decided to trust God blindly, and take a leap of faith. I left my corporate job and decided I was going to pursue my interior design career full-time. 😳👈🏾 exactly!

It was literally one of the scariest and intimidating situations I have ever been in. They say fear is our number one set back, which, by the way, it’s very very true! I knew for a while that this is what I was supposed to do. I would talk to God + myself about it all the time, I could literally feel it in my soul. However, I let my own fears hold me back for years by simply not being obedient. I was in fear that my set income I knew I could count on would be gone as well as medical benefits etc. I could name numerous of different fears that crossed my mind, a bunch of “what ifs”. But the only “what if “ that truly mattered was; “What if you trust God blindly + stop thinking you’re in control because girl your way is clearly not working.”

What truly changed the game was reading “Woman Evolve” by Sarah Jakes Roberts (if you have not read that I need you to immediately download, buy, Kindle, iBooks whatever source you have I’m begging you to read that book!!). Halfway through the book all those fears that I had started to diminish, by the time I was finished with the book I knew exactly what I needed to do! My life has not been the same since. The things I used to stress over are no more, the fears I used to have, what fears!?

After I quit my corporate job, my life literally changed overnight. It’s still mind blowing to me!! I have made more money than I have at my corporate career in a year vs their yearly pay, I make my own schedule I am my own boss, marriage is good, kids are good, life is good, God is greater! There are no complaints. (I had wished I had done this years ago lol but timing is everything!)

The only thing I know how to do now is trust God blindly and let me tell you, I LOVE IT HERE!!! 🙌🏾🫶🏾

This is just the beginning of my testimony, and I say this in hopes that I help someone take that leap of faith and stop living in fear. You got this!!! 💪🏾

Walmart (a billion dollar company) randomly reached out to me to partner up and sponsor an entire room makeover of my choice! (That means they paid for everything and paid me to make a video). They stated they love my personality through the camera, my content, and my design style and would REALLY love to work with ME! 😃

To say I’m grateful is an understatement!! I’m just out here being obedient to God and doing what I love, I LOVE IT HERE!!!
