Winter break is here and these two are really into it! Personally, I prefer the après to the ski but the natural beauty of this place is just breathtaking, a feast for the eyes, and, a true inspiration for the visual artist in me. The gorgeous snow-capped peaks, the brilliant blue skies and the clear mountain light are a reminder to respect these gifts and strive to enhance the natural beauty that is all around us.

Upper Eyelid BLEPHAROPLASTY!
All we could think of was “Wow!” at this beautiful patient’s one month, post upper and lower eyelid surgery follow-up. Prior to surgery, her striking eyes were shrouded by excess skin, upper lid dropping and lower lid puffiness. It’s truly remarkable what a difference correction of the eyelid area can make in overall appearance and youthfulness!
In this case, there was the additional functional issue of right upper eyelid ptosis caused by muscle weakness. This can not only affect appearance but the visual field of the patient. The functional and cosmetic aspects of this case highlight the importance of choosing a highly specialized plastic surgeon who focuses only on the face.

Ending the week with another on the table before and after of a septo-rhinoplasty performed for cosmetic and functional purposes. One of our top requested filler procedures from younger patients in 2021 was a more sculpted jawline. Young, female patients want to look more like some of their favorite Hollywood celebrities.
A tiny amount of the correctly chosen filler in the hands of a skilled injector can achieve this beautiful, sculpted result with absolutely no downtime.
While this look is not appropriate for every face shape, in the right patient, as in this case, jawline contouring can be beautiful!

This will be our second Christmas apart from our extended family due to new variants and fluctuating travel restrictions. Hopefully this is not your situation, but if it is, take heart that you are not alone. It has been a difficult couple of years for all of us but especially for elderly parents and grandparents who bear the highest risk.

Rhinoplasty Tuesday?! Well it’s so close to the holidays, and as many of you know, our schedule is a bit mixed up trying to fit everyone in.
This lovely young patient at her routine 6 month post-op visit is looking STUNNING 🤩 for the holidays! Her prior rhinoplasty (by another surgeon) left her with an overly shortened nasal profile, a bulbous tip and overall appearance of a crooked nose. She also complained of poor breathing. A real gem in following her post-op care and being patient for her final result, she will continue to improve over the next several months. With revision, because it is a repeat surgery, recovery can be slower especially the resolution of tip swelling. We are grateful for patients like her!
As a double-board certified Facial Plastic and Ear, Nose & Throat surgeon, Dr Sule is uniquely specialized to perform these difficult revision surgeries. While some aspects may not be completely correctable, our surgeon is an expert in explaining realistic results and setting expectations at the initial consultation.

All this handsome, young man wanted for Christmas was to correct his otapostasis, commonly known as bat ear deformity, which had been a source of ridicule and low self-esteem as a young boy. We are so happy to see this nagging problem fixed; photos here depict immediate off the table results following the procedure.
Many patients, and their parents, are unaware that this issue can be corrected early in childhood, ideally between 5 and 7 years of age because the ear is almost fully grown and developed by the fifth birthday. Not only is early correction surgically more favorable but psychologically can spare a child from years of teasing and bullying that can harm precious self-esteem.
Dr. Sule is a double-board certified facial plastic and Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon making him the most ideally qualified surgeon for both pediatric and afult otoplasty.

Ever since I started my fitness journey, following what was a crippling autoimmune attack of RA, I’ve always had a great appreciation for being in good health, and will never take it for granted again. I’m especially THANKFUL 🙏 today. This summer I developed a blemish on my nose that would bleed and scab up and bleed, and just wouldn’t heal or go away. I even mentioned it to my friend Vanessa that I need to go get it check out in case it’s cancer. 🙃
Well…
I did, and it was.
Thankfully, it wasn’t a melanoma, or a more serious cancer. It was a basal cell carcinoma. Which is very treatable and has a high recovery rate. But I still had to get it removed.
I saw Dr Priya Zeikus who performed Mohs Surgery to remove the cancer. (She’s the “GOAT” Mohs Surgeon in Dallas)
Then plastic surgeon Dr Sandy Sule put my nose back together. I’m so appreciative to both of them for their care. I was in great hands 🙏.

Obviously I’m a ginger and burn easily 🌞, but for that reason. I’ve been using sunscreen religiously forever now. 20 years ago I would even go to a dermatologist to buy it, because the stuff at drug stores was crap. In my job I’m outside a lot, I cake on the spf and always have a big hat. It helped keep the crows feet away and keep me looking young, but didn’t prevent this cancer. So just a reminder…
ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SPF!!! Take care of yourself.

An immediate post-op from a rhinoplasty early this morning. This patient was unhappy with the hump on her nose, and, the size and shape of her tip. Now the hump is gone and the tip is smaller and more refined.
Of course she is at the beginning of her journey and we cant wait to share again when she is all healed up!
