We had a fantastic turnout and are grateful for the opportunity to share our history as well as the Pride Museum of Texas’s mission: to promote and preserve the history, visual culture, and contribution of the LGBTQ+ community.

A BIG thank you to Shelly Skeen Southern Regional Director and Callie Butcher for the invitation. We’re so excited to continue to work together to share our history and build our future!

Thank you to everyone who came and made our second exhibition a success! We’re grateful to the Crow Museum of Asian Art and Dallas Arts District for the opportunity to share images and stories from in Dallas. We loved attending brilliant lecture by Anette Becker director of Texas Fashion Collection and Kendel Bolton director of the Bolton Art Foundation “Out of the Closet and Into the Archive: Selections from the UNT Texas Fashion Collection” celebrated q***r designers in the collection and the legendary Edna Jean Robinson

Happy 1st day of Pride!

We're delighted to announce our debut exhibition, 50 Years of Pride Parades, presented in partnership with The Dallas Way, Dallas Voice, and the University of North Texas Library. This exhibition would not be possible without the generous contribution from Leo Cusimano, Publisher of Dallas Voice and Robert Emery of The Dallas Way. We’re deeply grateful for their time and resources, without which this exhibition would not be possible.

The exhibition will be on view in Centennial Hall at Dallas Pride Festival at Fair Park this Saturday 11:00-9:00 and Sunday 12:00-2:00. If you’re coming Saturday you must purchase a ticket to the festival otherwise admission on Sunday is free starting at noon. The show will be open until 2:00 when The Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade will begins.
