Last week, World War II veteran Herb Sheaner and families of his fellow infantrymen visited the Bush Center and were met with a surprise: President George W. Bush.
We were honored to meet Mr. Sheaner, who served in the 106th Infantry Division of the United States Army and was a prisoner of war in Stalag IV-B in Germany. We are grateful to Mr. Sheaner and all of those who have sacrificed in defense of our freedom.
