Olivia made her NYC debut last evening in the principal role originated by Tiler Peck in “Love Letter (on shuffle)” . The Lincoln Center audience cheered at her daredevil solos and multiple pas de deux sequences!

The Dallas Conservatory could not be more proud of our alumna, who at just 19 years old is playing principal roles in three ballets among over a dozen roles this season with .

Olivia will be dancing all weekend with NYCB at Lincoln Center (including “Play Time” featured in this photo). She will dance in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, all performances next week to finish out the spectacular 75th Anniversary Season!

MEET TDC SI GUEST FACULTY PT. 1 ⭐️/ We’re thrilled to welcome back Natalia Bashkatova and Erica Fischbach as our ballet guests TDC SI Week 1, June 3-7th!

Both Ms. Natalia and Ms. Erica are well-known to our audience as YAGP Judges and Master Class teachers!

Ms. Erica danced with American Ballet Theatre and Pacific Northwest Ballet for 20 years, playing principal roles in ballets by Antony Tudor, Twyla Tharp, Jiri Kylian and Agnes de Mille. She had roles created on her in world premieres by Lar Lubovitch, Mark Morris, Twyla Tharp, Paul Taylor and Kevin McKenzie and has appeared on TV and film. She is currently Colorado Ballet Academy Director where she teaches, choreographs, and guides her students to international training programs and professional contracts, and top placements at YAGP.

Ms. Natalia was born in Moscow and trained at the famed Bolshoi Ballet Academy. She was a principal dancer with Bolshoi Theater Grigorovich Ballet in Russia and has played leading roles including Kitri, Odette/Odile, Swanhilda and Aurora among many others. She has toured worldwide to countries from Japan, China and Egypt to Greece, France and Belgium. On arriving in the United States, Ms. Natalia danced leading roles for 19 years with Cirque du Soleil. She is now an in-demand master teacher and coach nationwide.

🎊TDC DRILL Pt. 1‼️🎊 We are thrilled to welcome as Director of Drill, Dallas Campus! She joins our team of multi-award winning drill dance professionals including Lyndsay Renger (Frisco Performance Co. Director) with .silverthorn and (both pro dancers with the and associates with our Frisco Performance Companies!)

Elise Smith is well-known to DFW, with 14 successful years as a drill director, choreographer and coach who has produced complex, polished, and award-winning routines. She is passionate about drill technique and skills, building trusting relationships with dancers, and creating nationally recognized solos, duets, ensemble, and team performances.

Ms. Elise is a former Kilgore College Rangerette, and in addition to her work with TDC, she will continue to teach and adjudicate for drill competitions.

We are loving each precious minute of Finals! We have highlighted all 8 soloists who have competed so far. Now meet our last Junior!
This is Tobias Weber’s 2nd YAGP Finals as a soloist. He is a 2nd and 3rd place winner in Contemporary and Classical at ‘24 and has won many awards for his memorable dancing over the years … including National Outstanding Teen Dancer Runner Up 2023!
Tobias has also received many excellent scholarship including Summer!

Tobias will be busy at 2024 YAGP Finals with 2 solos and also 2 pas deux, both classical and contemporary with his partner (seen in these photos - go back two posts to meet her and see stories - she has the same difficult program)‼️💪 He and Zoey will also perform in 2 TDC ensemble dances!
Tobias is the youngest of a family of dancers and his mother is one of our two Associate Artistic Directors. His eldest sister will turn professional in Fall (watch for announcement!)

On this day bringing awareness to the critical need to worldwide, we begin at home in Texas with the exceptional news that TDC's Gracelyn Weber, 15, has been awarded a $10,000 scholarship to further her advanced arts training as one of only 15 exemplary students statewide selected to receive the Texas Young Masters title, Class of 2024! Gracelyn is one of only five dancers selected!
Gracelyn exemplifies outstanding commitment to her art of dance in all its aspects, from training and rehearsing for 30+ hrs weekly (working her way over a decade to being a top award-winning dancer), to choreographing, costume design and creation, lighting design, stage management, teaching, and coaching.
We thank and for recognizing Gracelyn's potential as an artist and leader of the future! Their work for young artists is so important!

SO MUCH FUN! Our full Pre-Pro company is in Savannah, Georgia at the brand new NYCDA Savannah🥳🎉. We could not attend the Dallas regionals this year because the dates conflict with YAGP international finals in NYC!! All of our families are enjoying their time here, and we are sharing the weekend with so many excellent schools and dancers from across the South.
