From her summer retreat in Colorado Springs, Emily Summers shares, “My favorite object in the Round House is the Spaghetti Vase by Gaetano Pesce. The brilliant Italian architect and designer died on April 3rd at 84. He will be remembered as the ‘designer who broke the rules,’ and leaves a legacy of colored resin objects and unpredictable furniture designs. He called himself the enemy of the grid, a perfect complement to enhance our Round House.”
